WSKG
Public Television has partnered with the Maine-Endwell School
District to create an academic quiz competition, The M-E/WSKG
Invitational ACADEMIC ENCOUNTER,
for broadcast on WSKG TV. The questions asked & answered
range broadly across many academic disciplines.
Several school
districts sent a team of four students, with one alternate
and a faculty
or parent coach, to compete for prizes and scholarships.
Preliminary rounds were held at various school locations, with the finalists
invited
to appear on WSKG TV on ACADEMIC ENCOUNTER.
