This week on Expressions, excerpts from a Binghamton
Philharmonic concert performed
on March 16, 2008, featuring the International
Contemporary Ensemble, a highly acclaimed Chicago and
New York-based ensemble. The concert concluded the “South
of the Border Exploration Series,” a series of free
lecture/performances involving contemporary classical music
and hosted by Carlos
Sanchez-Gutierrez,
the Philharmonic’s composer-in-residence. On April
5, 2008 at the final “Classical Series” orchestra
concert of the season, the Philharmonic will feature
the world premiere of Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez “Ex Machina
for

featured on Expressions April 3 at 8pm on WSKG
