its second season this
week with an in-studio concert from Ithaca area singer-songwriter Joe
Crookston.
His folkish melodies and heartfelt stories really captivated
the audience at the recording session. Watch for Joe

18 at 8pm on WSKG TV(rebroadcast
Sunday, 9/21 at 10:30pm on WSKG TV).

says "Samite wraps his warm voice around melodies that seem
to rise up off the Ugandan plateau, caressed by his kalimbas
(thumb pianos) and other native instruments." Percussionist
Jeff Kayes accompanies Samite on Djembes and Congas among other
